Make a crossword from your own vocabulary list
Your terms become the answers and your definitions become the clues. Numbered grid, Across and Down lists, and a solution page for whoever is marking it.
Free. Your sets stay private until you share them.
Built from the set you already have
No second list to maintain. Make the set once and the crossword is another way to print it, alongside the study guide and the worksheet.
The same puzzle for the whole class
A given set always produces the same grid, so everyone printing it gets an identical puzzle and can compare answers. Clues have the answer edited out of them, so a definition that names its own term does not give the game away.
Honest about what it cannot do
A crossword answer has to be a single run of letters, so a term like "CN IV — Trochlear" contributes TROCHLEAR and a set written in kanji cannot make a puzzle at all. When a set will not work, the page says so instead of printing a broken grid.
