An Anki alternative for when Anki is too much
Anki is the more powerful tool, and for getting something into your head over months it is the better one. This is for when you want a set made, studied and printed this afternoon.

Nothing to install, nothing to sync
Open a page, type or paste your terms, study. No desktop client, no deck files to shuttle between machines, no add-ons to keep working after an update. Share a set by link and whoever opens it needs no account at all.
Where Anki is better, plainly
Anki's scheduler is the more sophisticated one, and it is tunable in ways this is not. There is a scheduler here — cards get a due date that stretches as you get them right and collapses when you miss — but it is a plain SM-2 with a right-or-wrong grade rather than something you can tune. Anki also works offline, has real mobile apps, and handles images, audio and cloze deletion. If you are memorising for an exam a year out, use Anki.
Where this is easier
A set takes a minute to make and seconds to paste in. Every set prints six ways, which is not really what Anki is for. A link shares it with a class without anyone signing up. And a crossword built from your own terms is a different way in when flipping cards has gone stale.
An Anki export comes straight in
Anki writes tab-separated text with its own directives at the top and sometimes HTML inside the fields. Paste or upload it and both are stripped; the preview shows you the result before anything is added to your set.
