Use your study library from inside Claude
Claude supports custom connectors, and I Need to Study is one. Add the address once and your sets, your cards and your progress are things Claude can work with directly.
Free. Your sets stay private until you share them.
Adding it takes one paste
Copy the connector address from the connect page, add it as a custom connector in Claude's settings, and approve the connection when it sends you back here to sign in. There is no API key to generate and nothing to configure afterwards.
Things worth asking it
"Turn these lecture notes into a set." "Add the terms I got wrong to my pharmacology set." "What am I behind on?" "Find me a public set on the Krebs cycle and copy it into my library." Each of those is one tool call, and it tells you the link to what it made.
What it cannot do
There is no delete tool, deliberately — deleting a set takes its cards, your progress and your study history with it and there is no undo, which is a bad thing to put one sentence away from an assistant. It also cannot read anyone else's private sets, or publish yours without a confirmed email address.

Make flashcards by asking for them
Connect I Need to Study to Claude or any assistant that supports MCP connectors, then ask it to turn your notes into a set, add terms you keep missing, or tell you what you are behind on.
An MCP server for study sets
INeedToStudy.com is a remote Model Context Protocol server at /mcp: OAuth 2.1, ten tools over flashcard sets, cards and study progress, and no client library to install.
Generate a practice test from your own terms
Turn any set of terms into a mock exam — written, multiple choice and true/false — marked in one go with a per-question review.
